You didn’t hear it from us, but the Flint Farmers’ Market may be hosting a comic and gaming convention on Saturday, Oct. 10.
From the Secret Con Facebook page:
The first rule of Secret Con is that there is no Secret Con. Spies in the area have heard rumors of a comics and gaming convention coming to the Flint MI area, but have denied it’s existence for years. Now the rumors might actually prove to be true. Comics, art, books, gaming, and reputed guests well worth the price of admission. More details IF and when they become available. Remember, DON’T tell your friends, deny all rumors of any Secret Con, and remember to forget you were here at all!
IF the event were happening, it would probably be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with special guests including William Stolpin, a printmaker and dragon illustrator, and William Messner Loebs, the writer/artist behind “Journey: The Adventures of Wolverine MacAlistaire” and other works.
Admission would likely be $5 per person.
