It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year at Crossroads Village

Nothing kicks off the holidays in Flint & Genesee like the annual Christmas at Crossroads celebration!

Now through Dec. 30, costumed villagers are preparing for the holiday season in Crossroads Village’s homes and shops. The Colwell Opera House presents live entertainment, and Santa Claus visits with children. The beloved Huckleberry Railroad will even take you on a festive nighttime train ride.

Bundle up and come visit during this special time when thousands of lights sparkle like tiny stars throughout the village. You’ll find villagers making vintage crafts and singing carols, and shops full of great gifts.

Crossroads Village is located at 6140 Bray Road, Flint. Click here for village and train hours, tickets and more.

Crossroads Village in northeast Genesee County is one of the most unique tourist destinations in Michigan. Every time I visit I asked myself why I don’t come more often. It’s like taking a trip back in time to an authentic Great Lakes town from the turn of the last century, with more than 34 historic structures. (Photo by Bruce Edwards)
