Michigan Activity Pass Provides Free Access to Hundreds of Parks, Cultural Attractions

Poster%2024x36[1]Michigan residents, take note: Your library card now provides you with access to explore hundreds of state parks, historic sites, cultural attractions, campgrounds and recreation areas – for free.

As part of the Michigan Activity Pass program, library cardholders can print out one-use admission passes simply by visiting their local library or the program’s website. (The passes are good for seven days after being printed.)

In Genesee County, participating locations include:

  • Applewood Estate
  • Buick Automotive Gallery
  • Flint Institute of Arts
  • Longway Planetarium
  • Montrose Historical and Telephone Pioneer Museum
  • Sloan Museum
  • Whaley Historic House Museum

When planning a visit to a venue through the MAP program, program officials recommend calling ahead to verify hours of operation.
