With Social Networking becoming a part of every aspect of a person’s life it’s hard to know which one of the many platforms to use and how to best use each one. Too often the SOCIAL part of social networking is emphasized over the NETWORK part but if used correctly you can leverage these sites to help both your career and business. This Wednesday, March 19 the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce and MLive/The Flint Journal will be hosting a seminar on LinkedIn Best Practices that will help you create your profile for the site, make the connections to broaden your network, and will help you research prospects that might help your business become stronger and grow.
The event will begin promptly at noon with a lunch and will move on to the presentation from there. This is just one of many planned sessions on marketing and social media and will be a big help for anyone just getting their business or career connected to the many social networking platforms. This event is free but registration is mandatory.
