You can’t do a whole lot better in your first three games as a professional. Flint’s Mark Ingram, in his first season with the New Orleans Saints, has scored three touchdowns in as many games. Ingram scored against Oakland last night in a romp that finally provided Saints’ fans with a glimpse of the high-powered offense they’ve come to expect.

Ingram is regarded by many to be the highest-impact rookie for 2011. If his preseason performances are any indication, he’ll have a shot at the starting running back position in the Big Easy.
