Let’s hope he catches better than he remembers elementary geography.

This morning, on the Stoney and Bill Show on 97.1 FM (Detroit sports radio), Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson played a trivia game with a caller. The point of the game was for the caller to guess whether Burleson could answer correctly five simple questions.

Like this one: “What is the capital of Michigan?”

Burleson didn’t seem sure of himself, but answered nonetheless: “Is it Flint?”

Needless to say, Burleson was wrong and so was the caller who assumed he would know the capital of the state he lives in.
