When I first saw this place I did a double take. I’d never seen a store more overtly American. It’s Barking Babes Pet Boutique in downtown Fenton. Granted, I probably don’t like dogs enough to get one coiffed, but I know a lot of people who do. Dogs are probably the only things left that pretty much all Americans love. (Photo by Jared Field)
