Fenton, in southern Genesee County, is the new home of the Fairfield Inn & Suites. I visited the property a couple months back and, I must say, I am totally impressed that they were able to get the hotel open so quickly.
Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR; http://www.marriott.com) is scheduled to open the 80-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Fenton, Michigan this Monday, June 27, 2011. Located at 3125 West Silver Lake Road, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Flint Fenton will operate as a Marriott franchise, managed by Amerilodge Hospitality Group of Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Located three miles from downtown Fenton, 13 miles from the Bishop International Airport and within walking distance to several shopping outlets and numerous nearby restaurants, the hotel offers guests convenient access to Lake Fenton, the Michigan Renaissance Festival and the Mt. Holly Ski Resort. Rates begin at $99 per night,
