The planned expansion for one of Genesee County’s favorite fast food restaurants got underway this week when ground was broken on a new Halo Burger in Grand Blanc.
The new restaurant will be built on Holly Road. Here are the details from The Flint Journal:
This is the tenth Halo Burger location in Michigan, Lou Dortch, chairman of the board of Dortch Enterprises LLC., said.
The Dortch family bought the Halo Burger franchise from Terry Thomas in December of 2010.
Dortch and his son, Lou Dortch Jr., broke ground for the new building Wednesday afternoon, which is being built at 8020 Holly Road.
“We’re excited about the Halo Burger brand,” Dortch said. “It’s exciting and we’re looking forward to further expansion later in the fall.”
